Skyrim for eight hours?  Frickin' amateurs.

I'm not surprised at all about Microsoft's about-face with the XBox One.  The criticism they were getting from the community was absolutely scathing and Sony was having a frickin' field day taking them to the cleaners over the DRM.

I should also point out that the PS4 still has some fairly substantial hardware benefits over the XBox One, but Sony always has a hardware lead (e.g. the Emotion chip and the Cell architecture) and it has always amounted to very little in terms of game fidelity.  That said, the PS4 is also slated to hit the market $100 cheaper than the XBox One, so Sony has apparently learned their lesson from the PS3 "get a second job" debacle.

This trailer definitely caught my eye.  I've always been interested in the Battle of Stalingrad, and this movie looks like it might do it justice.

Murphy looks waaay too aware of his altered state which was a charm of the 80s version.  This movie is suffering from what I call "Spider-Man 3 Venom syndrome" where you have an actor who is hidden behind a mask or other face obscuring feature who wants his pretty face shown to the audience way too many times.  Also, the "teaser" pretty much tells me EXACTLY what will happen!  But hey, I was wrong about "Dredd" now that movie was amazing...why can't we have a sequel to that?

It looked interesting to me, although that had to be the oddest possible role to cast Samuel L. Jackson into.  Honestly, I'm hard-pressed to think of any actor that would be less suited for a newscaster role.
